I’m the sort to only do something when broadcasted out loud. So this is a no turning back-commits me-type post. My challenge is to find, look and reflect on all the great sculptures in the Vancouver Biennale. Yes, all of them. All 34 of them.
No time limit…well…the Biennale ends in 2011 so that’s a bit of a deadline.
And I like company, I thrive on it when it comes to creative output. So I’m opening it up to anyone who would like to join me on this trip, virtual or real-life. I’m going to post pictures of myself with the sculptures and add a bit of reflection.
I’d love for you to post your reflections on these pieces which means you actually have to go and see them. So I’m treating this challenge as a giveaway opportunity too!
The Vancouver Biennale graciously offered 5 commemorative Vancouver Biennale umbrellas as giveaways. A very handy gift right now.
This is a comment-based contest/challenge so this is the way to submit:
1. Via the blog – A meaningful reflection needs to be posted on the related post. Each reflection will be considered an entry.
I’ll draw an entry every few weeks depending on how many entries I get.
Please spread the word about the Vancouver Biennale Challenge and share this post with other folk who might be interested. Many thanks!
